Justin Timberlake stopped by Sunday's BET Awards to help honor Charlie Wilson with the Lifetime Achievement award. He joined Wilson onstage to help perform a medley of his song, including "Outstanding."
Before presenting the award, Justin called Wilson an inspiration to a generation of R&B artists, joking that it was just a nicer way of saying that he's stolen from him. The tribute to Gap Band singer started with performances from India Arie, Jamie Foxx and Stevie Wonder. When Wilson took the stage after his acceptance speech, he gifted the audience with "You Are" and "Nephew." Pharrell Williams and Snoop Dogg then joined "Uncle Charlie" on stage for "Beautiful."
JT later appeared to complete the all-star quartet to help Charlie sing "First Name Charlie Last Name Wilson," "Signs," "You Dropped the Bomb On Me" and "Outstanding." Justin was also up for Best Male R&B Artist at the BET Awards, but lost at the beginning of the show to Miguel.
