Jada Pinkett Smith returns to television in 'Gotham'

For all of us who loved ‘Hawthorne’ and hated to see if go in 2011, get ready for a new dose of Jada Pinkett Smith on your television screen. And this time she’s coming back as a badass!

Fox’s Batman prequel Gotham has signed Jada Pinkett Smith to its cast, as Catwoman? Harley Quinn? A gender twist on The Riddler or Joker, perhaps?

Nope! Jada is coming back as Fish Mooney, a sadistic gangster boss and nightclub owner, she’s got the street smarts and almost extra-sensory abilities to read people like an open book. Imposing and hotheaded, she’s not one to be crossed. Fish Mooney also the boss of a young psycho named Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor), who eventually becomes The Penguin. Snap! This sounds like such a great role for Jada.
